Financial Controller (CF)
ICAN certified professional, he is a result-driven accountant who has put in over 33yrs in the oil and gas industry majorly in the field of accounting.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Rivers State University of Science And Technology Nkpolu, 1992 – 1998.
He has Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the University of Calabar, 1999 – 2000.
He started his career as an account clerk with Nigeria Engineering Works Ltd, Trans Amadi between 1988 – 1990 and thereafter joined Vister Services Limited as an Admin /Accountant officer between 1995 – 1999.
He later got employed with Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited as Financial Accountant in 2000 – 2004, and was later promoted as Project/Cost Controller in 2004– 2006, he was later appointed as an accountant (Group Treasury) in Sirpi Alusteel Construction Limited 2006–2016 under Adamac Group of companies.
In Feb 2016, he was appointed as the Head of Finance in Geolab Technical Services Nigeria Ltd and was later promoted to the rank of Cost Controller & Accountant.
He has a keen interest in working safely and ensuring workers’ safety with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work within a budget.
He leads Escon Oilfield as a Financial Controller (CF).
He oversees all financial-related activities of the company, such as; Preparation of Schedule of financial statements/reports, Cash Flow, Preparing of monthly management accounts/related reports, maintaining monthly & quarterly budget, monitoring and reporting, Preparation of project profitability reports for each project-cost control, Coordinating & maintaining trade debtor’s account and reporting, etc. He ensures effective management of the account-related matters of the company in all our deliverables according to schedule, budget and timeline.
