He is both a local and international experienced geologist with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has expert knowledge in 3D reservoir modeling for field development planning and production optimization. Highly experienced in horizontal wells drilling and have successfully geosteered over 200 wells in Africa, USA, Asia, Middle East, and Europe. In the course of his career, he has managed multi-disciplinary subsurface projects and identified business needs for exploration and production growth. His knowledge sharing to the global industry includes paper publications in SPE, EAGE, AAPG and WTGS professional organizations.

In 2005, he began his career at Laser Engineering and Resources Consultants (Nigeria) as a Reservoir Geologist. Thereafter, he proceeded to Schlumberger Oilfield Services Limited (Nigeria) in 2006 were progressed to the role of a Geology Team Lead that worked on a multi-million dollar project for an international oil company operating in the Niger Delta. In 2008, having demonstrated a high level of technical competency coupled with achievement awards, he was transferred to the United States of America as an expatriate for Schlumberger Oilfield Services Limited. He was among the engineers who successfully monitored and geosteered thousands of wells during USA unconventional reservoirs development revolution between 2008 and 2015. This enabled the United States to significantly increase its production of oil and natural gas, particularly from tight oil formations, which now account for about 40% of total U.S. crude oil production. In 2015, he returned back to Nigeria where he served various roles such as Subsurface Operations Team Lead, and Head of Geoscience at Orient Petroleum Resources and Neconde Energy Limited respectively. He engaged in several subsurface projects and managed teams that worked in Anambra Basin (OPL 915 & 916) and Niger Delta Basin (OML 42) fields. He later joined Heritage Energy Operational Services, Nigeria (A subsidiary of Heritage Oil Limited, UK) as a Senior Operations Geologist for OML 30 fields.

He obtained his B.Sc. geology degree from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2003. In 2014, he had his M.Sc. geology degree from University of Texas of the Permian Basin, USA. He is currently working on his Ph.D. research in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Texas at Arlington. In the past 15 years of his career, he has obtained 13 international professional trainings with certifications.

Currently, he serves as Non-Executive Director of Escon Oilfields Limited to oversee the operational activities of the company which is geared towards the attainment of sustainable business success and delivering on its corporate strategy.
